On September 29, 2022, IMA, as the world’s leading international management accounting organization, launched a professional capacity building and certification program around sustainable business practices – IMA Sustainability Business Practices Certificate – to help corporate financial professionals quickly improve their ability to respond to the coming wave of sustainability. As the leading sustainable development competitiveness education and research institution in the Asia-Pacific region, after nearly a year of hard work, Galapagos Institute finally reached a strategic cooperation agreement with IMA on the eve of the 2024 National Day, and worked with peers to introduce the IMA sustainable business practice capacity building and certification program, which is well-known in developed economies, into the Chinese market. We firmly believe that this will play a positive and effective enabling role in helping the high-quality development of China’s business community and promoting the sustainable development of human society.
